Snails have positive associations around the world, in English folklore they were associated with the fertility of the earth due to their love of coming out in the rain. In Egypt their spiral shells were associated with the spiral of life. This cute patch looks beautiful styled on a dark mori garment, perfect for nature punks, wiccan and witches.

Plague Doctor Patch – black metal patch, goth patch, heavy metal patch, death metal patches, black magic patch, medieval art
Based on a woodcut from the 15th century, this is the earliest known depiction of a “Plague Doctor”, a sinister image but the beak was filled with herbs thought to cleanse the air so the doctor could tend to their patient.

Plague Doctor Back Patch – black metal back patch, goth back patch, heavy metal patch, death metal patches, black magic patch, medieval art
Based on a woodcut from the 15th century, this is the earliest known depiction of a ‘Plague Doctor’, a sinister image but the beak was actually filled with herbs thought to cleanse the air so the doctor could tend to their patient.
