This is a wooden keepsake box engraved with an image of The Soldier fighting death from “Imagines Mortis, Lugduni sub scuto Coloniensi, 1547,” which have been usually ascribed to Holbein.
The dull gold and matt black give it an aged feel.
The underside of the lid can be engraved for you, just choose that option at checkout.
The box measures 10 cm square is 8 cm tall. That is approximately 4 inches by 3 inches.
The lid is hinged and the base of the box is lined with red felt.All overseas parcels are shipped with tracking.
