Here are some common questions about selling on Baphomart
How do fees work on Baphomart?
Joining and starting a shop on Baphomart is free. There are three basic selling fees: a listing fee, a transaction fee, and a payment processing fee.
It costs £0.12 to list an item to the marketplace. A listing lasts until the item is sold. Once an item sells, there is a 3.6% transaction fee on the sale price. We don’t charge you until you make a sale, nor any additional shipping charges. There are no listing fees for the paid plans.
Credit card processing payments through Stripe, collect a 1.5% + £0.20* payment processing fee when an item is sold.
If you use our shipping carrier partner Shippo for automatic shipping calculations they collect from £0.03 per printed label.
Fees may differ based on changes in exchange rate and the payment processing fee may also vary by bank country.
What do I need to do to create a shop?
It’s easy to set up a shop on Baphomart. Create a Seller Account (if you don’t already have one), choose a shop name, add your branding, shipping costs and create a listing. Connect your payment method so you can get paid and you are good to start promoting your shop!
Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?
No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. You will not incur any charges until you have opened your shop, published your listings and sold an item.
How do I get paid?
With our easy-to-use and secure payment partner Stripe, you can accept payments from a variety of methods including credit or debit cards and Baphomart Gift cards. Funds from your sales are deposited directly to your Stripe account
How does Baphomart protect sellers?
Seller Protection is a programme that offers you peace of mind in the event of a transaction dispute. If you are unable to resolve a disagreement with a buyer and the transaction meets eligibility requirements, Baphomart will help you resolve the issue through our dispute resolution system.
What can I sell on Baphomart?
Baphomart provides a marketplace for craft-makers, artists and collectors to sell their creations, vintage items, and curiosities. We do not accept mass-produced goods.
