Season’s Beatings! Gruß vom Krampus! An Alpine Christmas figure of the devil variety, this one eats really naughty kids and serve as a deterrent for bad behaviour, either by thrashing them with branches or carrying them off in a potato sack or a basket on his back during house visits from the Christmas saint and devil or parades that still happen in areas of Austria, German and the Alps.
He is shown here in profile with the German greeting, Greetings from Krampus, with a border of branches, baubles, holly and mistletoe.This product is also available in a double Krampus themed card pack on this shop, and the original lino prints can be found here in various colours too!
