Reverend Dodge Driving a Devil out of the Parish – Lino Print
This image depicts the Rev. Richard Dodge, Parson of Talland in Cornwall, doing what he was famous for. He was parson of Talland from 1713 until he died aged 93 in 1747, and was widely reputed to be able to raise the dead, lay ghosts to rest and he was also believed to be able to exorcise devils from places and used a horsewhip in carrying out these tasks.
People were often fearful of meeting him in the dead of night, as no doubt, a spirit or demon would also be in close range, but it is also believed that he courted these attitudes as he could have been involved with smuggling and wanted to keep the way free to assist the smugglers.

Brass Golden Necklace Pendant – Shimmering Horse – Kelpie
This pendant is hand made with one of my original designs on a recycled brass disk, each one a unique design.
This is inspired by the Celtic myth of the kelpie, a mystical horse that will capture it’s rider to a watery grave.
I’ve been inspired by textures of historic jewellery, I like to imagine these are old coins dug up from a remote meadow, paired with contemporary design.

Brass Golden Necklace Pendant – Boar of Benn Gulbain – Betrayal
This pendant is hand made with one of my original designs on a recycled brass disk, each one unique.
This is inspired by the myth of the Boar of Benn Gulbain – in which the warrior Diarmuid Ua Duibhne is tricked by the giant Fionn mac Cumhaill into fighting an enchanted boar, which later kills the warrior by piercing his heart with its tusk.
I’ve been lately inspired by textures of historic jewellery, I like to imagine these are old coins dug up from a remote meadow, paired with contemporary design.
