• Test Tube Baby – Frankenfoetus

Are there any horror fans in the house?!

Good. Well to you guys I say, forget all of those cute unicorn foetuses and dead merbaby specimens that I peddle.. THIS is the specimen for you!

It certainly bears a resemblance to a certain creature portrayed by Boris Karloff some years ago. But of course that was all movie fiction, based of the writings of a young lady 200 years ago. Yet inspite of this far fetched tale of fiction, maybe there was a kernel of truth. For here we have an unborn monster!

These little fellas mostly come in shades of green. Sometimes a perky bright hue (as pictured) or with a sickly drab olive pallor. I’ve had the odd foetus so dark green as to appear almost black – presumably due to extreme tissue necrosis before embalming or preservation chemicals had been administered.

If you order a test-tube baby Frankenfoetus, this is what you’ll receive:
    • 1 x hand-prepared frankenbaby foetus specimen
    • specimen report
    • 150mm long glass test tube, with cork bung
    • 1x handmade shipping crate

DISCLAIMER: only ficticious creatures are harmed to bring you this product.

Please note – this item is faux taxidermy.
Each piece is sculpted, moulded, cast, handpainted, and varnished.
I prepare all specimens personally, with much love.

FAQ: Yes, I can customise specimens.
You may wish it to be a different colour or you may simply want to choose a specific name to be written on the specimen report. This is all possible, however such variations may also incur additional cost, depending on the work required. Please get in touch before placing an order and we can discuss these things. (Please note – this will not be possible before Xmas.)

  • Reverend Dodge Driving a Devil out of the Parish – Lino Print

This image depicts the Rev. Richard Dodge, Parson of Talland in Cornwall, doing what he was famous for. He was parson of Talland from 1713 until he died aged 93 in 1747, and was widely reputed to be able to raise the dead, lay ghosts to rest and he was also believed to be able to exorcise devils from places and used a horsewhip in carrying out these tasks.

People were often fearful of meeting him in the dead of night, as no doubt, a spirit or demon would also be in close range, but it is also believed that he courted these attitudes as he could have been involved with smuggling and wanted to keep the way free to assist the smugglers.
