Inspired by David Cronenberg and his novel of the same name.
“My left breast is a bag full of insects. I don’t know why it’s attached to me, I would like very much to… disconnect it. You can have it afterwards, if you like. I know you’re fond of it.” (pg. 203)
“…Because my breast is very much like a wasp nest, and you’d think they’d be comfortable in there.” (pg.204)*bees and hornets were ethically sourced, died naturally and not bred for human purposes.

Inspired from reading some of the historical newspaper stories that can be found in The Pine Barren Institute’s “Monsters in Print” compiled by Adam Benedict, my psyche was visited by this Giant Sea Lady, gorging herself on boats and ships, crunching through bows and sterns on moonlit nights.
