• “You May Call Me ‘Captain'” – Tarraway – A5 Art Print

This fellow is a Cornish Rumplestiltskin style version of a Devil, who appears in an old Cornish Christmas play or a guise dance called “Duffy and the Devil” originally from the Penwith area, specifically St Buryan.

Also known as drolls, this story involves a girl, called Duffy who is taken in by Squire Lovell of Trove, and set to spinning yarn after claiming she can make the finest stockings. This, however is untrue, and she makes a pact with a Bucca (Cornish meaning: Devil) that he should spin the yarnin return for joining him after three years has passed, unless she can tell him his name upon asking, if she couldn’t, she was his. In a sneaky bid to gain his name she addressed him as “Mister what do I call ‘ee?” To which he cunningly responds “You may call me Captain” from Duffy and the Bucca or Duffy and the Devil.

Also Available in a double pack with the Vampire and Sphinx cat in this shop.

  • Abundance Botanical Oil

This Abundance Botanical Oil is for use with works of abundance.  This can be used to evoke spirits of Abundance or to tap into the currents of Abundance and bring them to your rite, anoint candles, sacred space, tools and amulets for spell or devotional work. Abundance can refer to many things in life- the abundance of relationships and family. Then you have the abundance of food growing out in the garden, and prosperity in business. There are many things that we could be a little more abundant in in life.

If you want to make your spell work incredibly specific, you could always mix this oil with other components for spell work. You could try a Harvest oil, Prosperity candle, Offering Incense, Health candle to specify want you want the abundance to be in. However, this isn’t needed if you want to keep you spellwork simple.

The Abundance Botanical oil is a blend that works with the spirits of Rosemary, Black Pepper, mint, hops, chamomile, cinnamon and many more- creating a prosperous and potent blend.

As you work with the oil, you’ll find that you begin to interact with the plant spirits more.

  • Cleansing Botanical Mist

The Cleansing Botanical Mist is a mist that quickly cleanses a space, in the way that herb can quickly cleanse a space when performing smoke cleansing. This can be thought of as a smoke free alternative to smoke cleansing.

It can be used on shrine, altars or on spellwork surfaces. It can give you a fresh start before continuing your magic. This can be a good way to make sure that any previous magic or sorcery you’ve done doesn’t affect your spell work, or contaminate your spell work in the future. You can also use it to reset spell boards.

This can be used to evoke cleansing and purificatory spirits and call them to your rite. You can also use this to cleanse tools, amulets and many other objects.

This is an excellent spray to use when you think that a spell might have veered off course. Or use it when you think that you’ve brought something unpleasant back while journeying. You can simply spray the remaining objects from the spell to cleanse them of the energies you desire. Always explain to the botanical spirits present in the spray what you want them to do before using the mist, so they know how to work their magic to your best benefit.

The Botanical mist contains Continental Sage, rosemary, salt, clary sage, calendula, Frankincense, Juniper and much more!
