• The Patron Saint of Brave Faces – Lino Print

During Lockdown I was working in two keyworker jobs which I am still doing. A lot of art has been created by those who were effected by lockdown on the inside of their house, but this was created from the outside point of view, observing those who were only allowed out for essentials and not allowed out at all, but also seeing others who had little care for lockdown at all.

Sometimes in these testing times we put a smile on and find ways of navigating these days even when it’s not how one openly feels, and this is what this Saint/Angel is created for, for those days when it feels like a struggle. I’ve not named her by any particular name, I don’t actually know if any similar exists but now she does in a time when maybe people need her in particularly appreciate the spiritual and sarcasm.

Also available in full colour and with gold details from this shop!

  • Eye Of Newt – Traditional Spell Ingredient – (Mustard Seed)

“Eye of Newt” is a traditional ingredient in spellwork, and was made popular by the witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth; think “double, double, toil and trouble”! The name actually refers to mustard seed; a powerful ingredient in spells of all different types.

Mustard seeds can be carried with you or used in incense blends to keep your mind clear and focused. They can also be used for protection by being sprinkled around your home or buried by your doorstep to keep out supernatural entities. Mustard seeds are also traditionally used in fertility spells, so add these to your pouch or if you’re feeling brave then give one a chew!

  • Graveyard Dirt – Traditional Spell Ingredient – Spirit Work

Many spells call for graveyard dirt as an ingredient, from love magic, money and justice spells, to curses and necromancy (although our products should never be used in a destructive manner). If you’re a spirit worker, it can also be beneficial to keep a bottle of graveyard dirt on your altar to assist you in communication.

This is “general purpose” graveyard dirt, meaning it has been collected from the edging of pathways and patches by the church door rather than having connections to specific graves and/or people. The graveyard is special to the Witch as she has family buried there, so floral offerings are left regularly.
