One of my original beasties, Goat girl is made from a mix of synthetic and real goat fur, plastic beads, reclaimed plastic chandelier drops, lace, lame and lycra. The back of the cap is a little stretchy and has a drawstring for fit. Light and comfy to wear, not for the washing machine!

Mermaid eye original charcoal drawing
This charcoal pencil drawing of a mermaids eye complete with protective membrane was done on Fabriano watercolour paper. It was a challenge to do as the face shape and skin texture are different to ours- they also have no hair. This drawing is part of an ongoing project to rework mythological creatures in a way that works 🙂
