Hey there! I’m Em, the creative mind behind Tasarinan – Inspired by my love for Tolkien and Middle Earth, the name loosely translates to The Valley of Willows.
I also have a love for the macabre, and a deep appreciation for history and folklore. As a Welsh artist, I draw on our rich myths and legends, as well as Celtic and Pagan traditions, to create pieces that are both beautiful and haunting.
With over 15 years of design experience and a passion for photography, I bring a unique touch to my work, blending different media to craft pieces that evoke mystery, intrigue, and a sprinkle of magic.
Based in beautiful West Yorkshire, I design and manufacture around 95% of my products right here in my studio. So if you’re looking for something a little dark and fantastical, you’ve come to the right place!
Due to space limitations, some designs are outsourced to manufacturing companies who are just as passionate about eco-friendly practices as I am. Being eco-friendly is a top priority for me, so you can feel good knowing that my packaging is either recyclable or compostable.
