How do I add multiple items of the same product?

If you have more than one item of a product to sell you don’t have to keep adding it multiple times. Instead you can just add multiple units of the same product. These are called SKUs.

An SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is used for product stock management, and allows you to add stock quantity to warn when on low stock threshold, and to allow back orders.

To add an SKU to a product go to your Dashboard and select Product from the menu, then Edit or Quick Edit. Scroll down to the Inventory section and enter your SKU. 

Stock Status denotes either ‘In Stock’, ‘Out of Stock’ or ‘On Back Order.’ 

You can also allow only one quantity of your product to be bought in a single order.
