How do I update the customer on an order?
Once you have selected an order from the ‘Orders’ page, you can even contact the customer with any updates through the order messages. This will be sent to the customer as an email alongside the order details.
Good communication with your buyer distills confidence with them, explaining that you are moving forward with the orders, to let them know the order has been dispatched and answering any questions. Be transparent with them. If you can’t complete an order or meet your processing times, or if you learn an item is delayed in shipping, let them know as early as possible, don’t leave them wondering where it is.
You can update the order status to let them know it’s been shipped, add tracking code, and add notes to their order (via the orders page) all these notes will be sent to them via email.
Once the order has been completed you should update the status to complete.
